You can change Microforum's Internet Connection's colours. Select Colours from the Menu Bar. A colour palette will appear. Select the colour you want to change the background to by clicking with the right mouse button. The foreground colour can be selected by pressing the left mouse button. Then press the OK button.
You can copy a WWW, FTP, Telnet or Gopher site address to the clipboard and then paste the address into the Internet navigator software you're using. This saves you time and the hassle of trying to remember site addresses. To copy a site address, just click on the button next to the address. A message will appear indicating that the site address has been copied to the clipboard. To paste the address into your Internet Browser press SHIFT-INSERT.
To search for sites by description, select Search from the Menu Bar and then By Description, or just click on the Search by Description button at the bottom of the screen. Enter the text you want the Internet Connection to search for. Note that longer words limit the search success. For example, if you're interested in Religion, you will have greater success searching for 'Religio' than if you'd searched for 'Religion' or 'Religious'.

The Internet Connection plays sound effects and videos when a search is completed. You can turn these features on and off by selecting Sound or Video from the Menu Bar, and then selecting either Enable or Disable.
The Internet Connection contains a database of sites based on topics and a database of FTP sites. To view the database of FTP sites, select List from the Menu Bar and then FTP Sites. You can scroll down the list with the arrow keys or the scroll bar. By highlighting a site with the mouse, you can view information about the FTP site. For a description of the meaning of the information, select DESCRIPTION at the top of the list.
The Internet Yellow Pages contains a database of sites based on topics and a database of FTP sites. To view the database of sites based on topics, select List from the Menu Bar and then Categories. You can scroll down the list with the arrow keys or the scroll bar.
To view the topics in a category, double-click on the category which interests you. A new screen will appear with the topics listed along the right, the site addresses relating to the topics below, and a description of the topic at the bottom.
